Song from One Republic, "Good Life" has an alternate version?

Awhile ago on the radio i heard the singer from OneRepublic say "San
Diego" in the song's verse. For example, he sings "my friends in San
Diego" in one of the verses. Is there an alternate version where he
says this? Because i can't find it.
This wasn't a "live" version of the song, they don't play those in the
radio. Much help appreciated!
